Hi there my name is Frances I am 43 years old and I'm married with two children at primary and secondary school. I enjoy spending time with people and have worked in older adult care for about 14 years. I have worked for my current employer for 10 years who specialize in Dementia care including respite and daycare facilities.
I have undertaken various training courses. I have gained an SVQ level 2 in Social Care. I have also gained certificates in Dementia Awareness, First Aid and Food Hygiene among others. I have both disclosure and Scottish Social Services Council registration.
I would like to help people at home with any daily activities which they may struggle with, help with their shopping or even just to sit and have a cup of tea and some friendly company. I am a good listener and enjoy helping others maintain their independence so they feel valued and safe whilst respecting their privacy.
