I am Lucy and I am 16 years old. I'm my opinion the elderly don't get as much care and attention as they should and I hope to change this. Caring and helping other people has always been something that has been an important part of who I am. I haven't had any work experience working with the elderly but I hope to go to college in the next few months to study health and social and then on to being a carer. From the age of 6 I would always help my nan take care of my great grandmother. I would love sitting with her and keeping her company for as much time as I could. I also have experience after helping my elderly neighbours with simple things like going to the shop for them, helping them onto a bus or helping them carry shopping. I am a good cook and I am willing to learn how to make new meals to suit a person's needs or wants. I am always willing to learn new skills. I am always well presented and always punctual. I will be willing to cook food, help with shopping, house work and looking after pets. I am willing to work after school to 9pm and on week days from 8am to 9pm
