I am a fully qualified first aider and aspiring nurse. As part of work experience for my career I have volunteered regularly at my local hospital on a cardiac ward where the majority of patients were elderly. I enjoyed having conversations with them and making tea/feeding. I understand the importance of independence and dignity for everyone, but especially for the elderly and therefore always make this my top priority.
