At 18, I began a cleaning job at a local nursing home. I was quickly coaxed by the matron to work as a carer. As time progressed I completed NVQS , access to health professions certificate and then my nursing degree. I was a nursing auxiliary for around 16 years and then decided to join education and work with teenagers! I am a career, from teenagers to toddlers, from puppies to pensioners. I work during the day term time but as my boys are older now I have free time and a gap to fill ?
