Ciara, senior home help in Edinburgh

Hi there,

My name is Ciara. I have grown up next door to my grandparents all my life. I was very close to both of them. My grandad was very sick in the later years of his life. Although I was only a teenager I took great pride in helping him without making him feel useless.

I have a very good temperament and like to have a laugh, which usually helps an awkward situation. I am still very close to my grandmother who likes to ring me every day from Ireland for a chat.

I would like to study in care of the elderly and feel I would be very good at it. I have various qualifications in childcare and because of this I have a PVG check.
