I am Lydia - a 15 year old girl from Stoke-on-Trent, UK.
I am looking for a job in looking after the elderly, because I feel as though that helping people out is the way that you gain and earn respect.
I am a very helpful person, who is ready and prepared for an task that gets thrown at me. I love cleaning households and helping with chores, as I understand that some elderly people have down days and feel as though they can't do it themselves. I am also willing to give the elderly assistance with things such as helping them eat, drink, stand and walk.
I am not a professional, however I like to think of myself as experienced as I helped my nan around her house from a young age to earn my pocket money. I also helped my nan to complete tasks that she struggled with when she was ill; this helped me realise that the elderly sometimes may need help, even if they don't like to ask for it.
