I am a 19 year old female student who would like to offer support, help and comfort to the elderly over the summer months. I enjoy offering assistance to family members and others including the elderly in my church, although I do not have any professional experience. I can offer help by doing shopping and giving my time by conversation and company and assisting in household chores. I am a very outgoing person and have experience talking to the older generation through my part time jobs in the local butchers and in Dominos. Having been raised in a small church, I regularly speak to all age groups and spend time serving and conversing with elderly. I enjoy spending time with my grandparents and this has helped me to notice how important it is to offer my time and assistance to elderly people in the community and how they appreciate and value the company of others. I would like to use the time I have to offer any assistance and help I can give to those who would value it.
