Dear Sir/Madam,

I'm Polish-American, born in Warsaw, educated in USA with both languages as first.

I'm 45 y.o., very sportive, a swimming instructor, a life guard trained in First Aid. I'm a mum of three. My children are studying abroad. Kasia (20) is in Chicago, my sons are in Bavaria, Germany.

I moved to St.Albans in 2010. Since 2011 I'm taking care of an autistic boy (spectrum syndrome). You are welcome to contact his father for references.

In Poland I used to take care of my younger brother who was in a comma for 10 days, had a brain surgery and now he needs 24/7 assistance.

I'm a very confident driver, excellent cook, I like going to theatres or museums, I enjoy company of elder people - they always have great stories to tell. I miss my grandmother this way.

I am a father of two children - one of them severely autistic with very limited communication skills. I am also working away from home much of the time. I searched unsuccessfully for someone to provide childcare and to help around the house and cover for the times when I was not there. Ewa was recommended to me by a friend in (I think) 2010. She immediately struck up a rapport with both my children and showed herself to be a caring, sensible, fun and adaptable carer and housekeeper. Her qualities are, above all, that she is good with children (both my children, my nephews and nieces and numerous among their friends came to love her), organised, trustworthy. My children found her interesting to be around, a very good listener (and - in my daughter's case - a trusted confidante sometimes), full of ideas and very responsive to their needs and wants. I have trusted her with the keys to the house and car, money for shopping, trips and treats and she has never disappointed me. I cannot think of any flaws - however minor - unless one counts her musical taste!!! - Eric Clapton really is unforgivable :))
