My name is Annemarie I am 19-year-old student at Perth UHI studying sports and fitness. I am happy to help with house work, taking care of pets, cooking, shopping, here to listen and care for their emotional needs as well as physical, assisting with eating walking so on. I Also have a First Aid certificate and PVG to show that I am able to work.
As an individual I am Loyal, respectful, caring, a good communicator, hardworking, dedicated, responsible and reliable. For instance, I have put these to use when caring for my grandparents over the years everyday walking the dog when they are unable to, doing the house chores such as cleaning the bath or hovering, working hard on the farm moving bails when my grandfather is to unfit to during summer and being able to stick to a plan. Even going to the extent of doing a weekly check-up (chat) with a family friend where in some cases I’ve made soup for the disabled elderly widow during times of power cuts caused by the horrific weather conditions but still I have cycled or walked through it despite it being a few miles away from home.
I also volunteer at the monthly Church soup kitchen which my granny and her friends are running in Culbokie or often in the charity shop called “Bits and Pieces” which I spend time with my granny once again carrying heavy boxes cleaning the shop or dealing with customers.
Personally, I love the company of older folk more than anything as they have so many good stories to tell and great life advice which has come in handy. When being out in Perth I’ve already began conversing with the locals and helping an elderly man Greg with his garden on the Island near the golf course which he rents.
I look forward to any work coming my way and meeting new people thank you.
