Shannon, senior home help - SO23 Winchester

I'm Shannon, I am 18 years old and currently a first year student at the University of Winchester studying drama and performing arts. I love the elderly and I think they're so under appreciated. I can provide conversation whenever its needed or wanted, even over the phone, walks around the town, help with shopping and cooking. I like to think I am a friendly person who can hopefully put a smile on your face. I love the fact that I'd be helping someone. Also the elderly always have amazingly funny stories to tell which I love to hear. I haven't had any experience caring for the elderly but I know that I could learn really quickly. My Great Grandad had a stroke in early 2011 and he passed away in late 2013, so my great uncle and his wife moved in with him to help with care as none of us wanted to put him into a home, but they done very wrong by him, they robbed from him. And that sickened me, I know that it happens very often so I would like to show that I am some trust worthy care who will be there the majority of the time you need them.
