Hi, my name is Alice and I am 18.
I have done lots of volunteering with senior citizens before, and love spending time with people of that generation. I love hearing stories about what life was like before I was born.
I am able to offer lots of different types of help. I have previously worked as a cleaner so would be willing to transfer these skills to my employees home, and I regard myself as a good cook as well. I am willing to run general errands, and simply chat or read as well.
When at secondary school, I helped to co-ordinate a project called 'young at heart' which aimed to bridge the gap between the elderly and the young. I enjoyed this so much, that when I was old enough I began volunteering at Southampton General hospital as a meal time assistant, where I helped elderly patients eat.
I would describe myself as confident, positive and a people person. I hope that this is reflected in my work.
