From my experience, I have been able to work alongside children such as Nurseries, babysitting, and within a hospital environment. I have had different experiences from the age of 18 of being able to have work experience within a nursery and understand various job roles. From the age of 19, I have been able to have various placements within hospital settings such as children's wards, Neonates, Accident and emergency, and community placements over 3 years. The service offered will be from a pediatric nurse's point of view, which I believe provides unique specialized care for children. This background gives me an advantage in communicating with parents and provides parents with assurance that their children are receiving the highest standard of care. Therefore blending the warmth of traditional babysitting with the professionalism and expertise of a pediatric nurse will benefit children in every way.
