Charlotte, senior home help in Weir

I am a bubbly, outgoing, patient and compassionate carer aged 21 years old, who has nearly 3 years experience working with young adults with learning difficulties, spinal injuries, quadriplegia, the management of ventilation and tracheostomies, prader willi syndrome and down syndrome, showing extreme responsibility and commitment. I also have 2 years experience working with elderly patients in care homes, as well as working as an activities co ordinator.

I like to encourage independence as much as I can while being supportive and patient. I am an approachable and friendly person, and I have been told that I am compatible with everybody I work with. I go above and beyond to create an effective bond with whoever I am working with so they feel as comfortable as possible and at ease with me and to enjoy the time we spend together.
