Amy, teacher English in London EC1V

My name is Amy and I am a fully qualified and experienced Secondary school teacher from Australia. I teach English, Literature and Linguistics (as well as Drama!) and have worked for three years in Australia and six months in the UK. I have worked with students of all ages to improve their literacy, vocabulary, grammar and understanding of English expression. I have also volunteered as an English teacher in Peru and Spain, working with both teenagers and adults to improve their spoken and written English.
As a teacher of Literature and Linguistics, I have a confident grasp of the complexities of these subjects and am able to help students improve their marks in these areas. I have worked with students of varying abilities and am able to cater for different learning styles. I enjoy reading and storytelling and believe creativity is a fantastic tool for learning.
I am able to work weeknights and can offer assistance with homework as well as extra tutoring in English subjects or subjects that require confident written expression.
