I am a responsible, sensible and a positive-minded 21-year old from the Netherlands.

I have been tutoring English since 2013 and enjoy helping children and youth to just get that extra push to realize their talents and skills. Most children and youth lack the basics in a language and because of that fall behind in further classes/lessons.

I have tutored people aged 13 to 18. I have also had two placements in two Dutch secondary school. During this placement I was responsible for classes up to 30 pupils. I have created original lesson plans, tests and graded essays, presentations, letters and other projects. Besides my work as a (placement)teacher I have also provided the photography for certain events and organised one-on-one sessions to help students on their way without the distraction of a full classroom.

At the moment I am studying Community Education at the University of the West of Scotland in order to become a community educator and in the future a teacher in either a language in secondary schools or a primary school teacher.

I am currently a tutor for pupils in the Netherlands and provide lessons online. This means that I can tutor anyone, as long as there is a good internet connection. I expect to know the subjects(i.e. grammar, spelling etc.), the learner needs help with, before I start tutoring. This will allow me to sufficiently prepare myself to tutor in the best way.
