I am a qualified English Language teacher in Taiwan, having had 4 years of working experience at public schools and 5 years at private language institutes outside the school system. The students were from 7 to 18 years old. I just finished my MA program at Leeds Beckett University.

I am currently a Year 4 teaching assistant in Leeds, and my speciality is teaching English as second/foreign language, primary English and Maths, and Chinese literature.

I’m available after 4:30 on Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

I am patient and caring. The needs and benefits of children's learning are always my priority. I’ve worked with various levels of students, and found myself passionate to teach students who have insufficient learning resources and support systems. This has challenged me to develop my teaching methodologies, with applied theatre techniques to enhance my teaching efficiency. Also, I have had 10-year experience of tutoring low-achievers after school, so I have an eye for students’ difficulties in learning. Additionally, I have trained students to participate in various kinds of competitions, which allows me to have different access to students learning process, and they all had excellent performances in the competitions.
