I'm Sophie, I'm 18 and I'm qualified Level 3 NVQ in Childcare. I can work with children ages 0-19 and I have always been good at maths. I've done work experience and placement in schools, nurseries and with a childminder so I have a varied experience with how things are taught. I worked with a Year 1 class in The Twyn School and when it came to maths activities I was great, I had the blocks and the abacus, all the learning tools they could use to learn in their preferred way.
In school I got almost all C grades, including maths and English at a high C. I'm good at explaining things in various ways so that I can be understood by different people and my people skills are pretty good, I'm easy to talk to and get along with and I think I'd make a great tutor.
I am qualified L3 Childcare and can work with children ages 0-19. I haven't yet had a job working with children so I will stay cheap and cheerful until I get bigger and better as a person and as a professional.
