Hi, my name is Siobhán.
I am a primary school teacher and I have been playing music for 15 years. I play guitar, mandolin, tin whistle, bass guitar and the harmonica and I have been giving beginner and intermediate guitar and mandolin lessons for six years.
I am happy to teach any style of guitar playing, using chords and/or finger-picking. Lessons would include learning basic chords, reading notes and tabs, finger movements and strumming patterns. If you have any song requests or style requests, I would be happy to show you how to play them.
I teach traditional Irish mandolin, with jigs, reels, polkas and hornpipes in particular. Again, lessons would include learning basic finger movements, reading notes, chords and tabs, and strumming/picking patterns.
