Sumaiyah, teacher tutoring / homework help in Hull

Hi, I'm Sumaiyah!

I am a patient and dedicated individual who enjoys challenges. I have a strong science background and I am keen to help any student who feel they need that extra push to get to where they know they can be.

I studied Biology, Chemistry and Sociology at A Level and went on to attain a 1st Class degree in Biomedical Science from The University of Hull. I am currently studying a Masters degree in Physician Associate Studies at Hull York Medical School.

I am based in Hull and I am able to tutor primary level Science, KS3 level and A Level Biology and Chemistry. I am also able to tutor degree level Biomedical science (including but not limited to microbiology and immunology - if there are any biology based modules you are struggling with in particular, don't hesitate to ask!) I am available on weekends, some weekdays and evenings to visit nearby locations and support you/your child's learning using fun and motivational methods.

I use a wide range of sources in my own studies, - books, journals, Youtube, peers - and I will encourage this type of learning with my students. I'm a huge advocate of making the student recap over what we have learnt to test their understanding and I am happy to go at whatever pace the student feels most comfortable at.

I like to know each pupil and tailor my tutoring style to their individual learning needs.
