Home help for seniors living in Darton

I'm Kirsty i am currently 16 years old (17 in July) i used to help look after my granddad when he was in the nursing home, I used to help feed and talk to the other residents in the same care home he was in. I also look after my grandma when no one else is available which is quite a lot since they work office days and sometimes the weekend. I am currently doing a level 2 NVQ course in hairdressing and i had a job in a hair salon. Cleaning around, making drinks and looking after the clients....

I have no professional experience in this field, but I have personal experience of caring for grandparents and hold a great deal of respect for the elderly and believe that we should give back to the people that have shaped today's society. I have a car and a clean driving license and can offer transport services. I also have a friendly and caring demeanour and can be of great company to anyone.

I already look after an elderly lady doing her cleaning, shopping, errands etc and really enjoy it and would like more work in this area.

I currently work as a support worker in the community, I have experience of assisting with personal hygiene needs, cooking, taking shopping when required, having a chat. I also used to work in a hospital environment, I have plenty of care experience.
