My grandparents, whilst only in their 70s, have an array of medical problems which means I'm experienced in situations such as helping them take their pills, get dressed, get around the house, simple household chores and cooking. Experience working in a care / residential home where I carried out multiple tasks including household chores e.g laundry, making beds, cleaning etc. Helping to prepare meals and keeping the residents company, engaging in games or just sitting and having a chat.

I am 17 and currently studying health and social care level 3 in college. I am only studying part time and so I have a lot of spare time! during school I did a 2 week work placement at a residential care home for the elderly and I loved it. I carried on doing this voluntarily for a year and a half. I did the basics, such as sitting and talking to the residents, making cups of tea, making beds and having a little tidy up in there rooms.
