I have never worked professionally with the elderly but personally I do this all the time on a daily basis where I cook, clean, wash clothes, prepare beds, communicate/interact/listen, shopping, taking people places and much more and I'm willing to learn too.
I live with my grandparents so I know how to behave and act around all ages as well as help and be of assistants to them when needed.
