I am an animal lover. My parents have a dog and a cat which I lived with the biggest part of my life. As a vegetarian, I have all respect for animals and I always make sure they have everything they need. Their welfare is my main concern. I enjoy taking dogs for a nice walk so they can have some exercise. Cats are more independent but this doesn't mean they don't need us.

When I was an Au Pair, my family had two dogs, two cats and a few chickens. Everyday I was taking their dogs for a walk even though they never asked me to do it. However, I thought it would help them to gain some strength as their dogs were 10 and 11 years old and my host family didn't have to walk them everyday.

I also helped my host family's grandparents with their canaries and fish everytime they were going on Holiday. I had to be sure they had food and water.
