I really want to help people and i believe i have a caring nature in general.I can understand small amounts of russian as well as japanese, french and arabic I have had lots of experience working with children from teaching japanese voluntarily in many schools to nurseries and nannying. I have also volunteered In places like purple dragon and Gymboree. This has given me experience of working with VIP clients as they are private members clubs for children. My last job was working as a travelling nanny for the Saudi royal family. I specialize in working with children whose first language is not English and i learn the new language so i can communicate with the child and effectively teach them English. I have worked with English families and African, Arabic and Japanese children. I find the challenge of immersing myself into a new language/culture very exciting and thrive on the chance to help children understand a new culture I have not studied as a Norland nanny but I am aware of the training and I consider myself to have a lot of the same values. I cannot drive but would be happy to get public transport to wherever is needed. Having come from a very large family I have been around children for my whole life (eldest of 12) and I feel that I have faced every kind of challenge when it comes to child care. I have extensive experience with newborns both in family life and professionally as I was birthing partner for one of my families and then maternity nanny. I also have twin experience as I worked with twin boys (6 months) until this family moved house.I also have experience of grief counselling as one of my families lost somebody significant while I was working for them this came as a huge shock to the family so I adapted my role to help the family cope. I have also looked after children with autism and provided them with the necessary support. I consider myself to be very kind caring and hard working and i pride myself on my punctuality and reliability. I love to find new and exciting activities for the children to do. I am also happy to pass on any of my instrument/ language skills. I play piano, clarinet, flute and I sing all of the time. I find music to be an amazing way to stimulate childrens brains. On top of this I have had various cleaning jobs and worked in a charity shop and had a summer job working for the bosses of a major clothing range doing general admin and PA work. I am happy to run errands or help with admin if needed and of course help with any general housekeeping if this is necessary. I hope you will consider me for this role and I look forward to hearing from you soon
