I retired last year to nurse my mother in law who was terminally ill. We found it difficult to find small amounts of help . Someone to sit and chat , read or sit and watch to with her for an hour . This would of been so useful . I would like to offer a range of help from sitting either in their home or at my home to more involved packages. I am keen to help and care for anyone and would enjoy the role of assisting vulnerable people in their daily lives and keeping their routines. I am happy to use my car and time to listen and be present when needed. I am kind and compassionate and organised. I have experience in supporting and looking after my grandparents when they have been unwell or just need support. I have GNVQ on health and social care. I have no current professional experience in care with the elderly.

I enjoy chatting with the elderly who are on their own and helping them to become more social and allow them to feel as if they have people around them. This is an easier job for me due to being pregnant and I'm sure there will be many things to talk about with them to help them get to know me and for me to get to know them. I have always enjoyed elderly and even from a young age used to love spending time with grandparent etc.
