Hi I am Fay I am currently working in home care with a private company i have been doing the job 2 1/2 years and love it very much. My duties are Getting people up washed, showered and dressed, administering medication eye drops, ear drops, creams. Making breakfast and beverages. Leaving their house tidy, preapring and making lunch/dinner. Getting readin for bed, shoppping calls, domestic calls. Ringing for doctors, repeat prescription. reporting and documenting.
I would like this job because I love being around old people, ever since I was a child I’ve always wanted to work in a care home, and I want to make a step further, I used to look after my grandmother before she passed and my next door neighbor, with washing, eating, cleaning etc! y nan 62 and like in an over 60 flat as im aways round there i love help other people how live there like for example my nan friend been real ill so ive been do her washing, cleaning, cooking and shopping and loved it.
