I enjoy chatting with the elderly who are on their own and helping them to become more social and allow them to feel as if they have people around them. This is an easier job for me due to being pregnant and I'm sure there will be many things to talk about with them to help them get to know me and for me to get to know them. I have been lucky enough to have kept my grandparents for all my life and therefore I've been able to assist them with several things. One grandparent of mine lost a leg and therefore I have been able to adapt and help them cope with it. I also have a disabled uncle so I'm confident I can deal with most situations and complications that may arise. I also used to deliver and pack away shopping for a few elderly people I've done a First Aid course and have a certificate I can show on request.
