Home help for seniors living in Norbiton

Hello! My name is Shannon and I'm in my last year of sixthform, before I go to university next year, but I will be staying in this area. Although I don't have much experience of caring for the elderly, I am egaer to gain some. I'm empathetic, kind and patient, and enjoy the company of others. I have now lost all my grandparents who I miss so dearly. I loved nothing more than sitting with them for hours and chatting about anything and everything. I would love to be able to keep someone company, to listen to their adventures, care for and have a laugh with. In my grandads last few years he suffered from Alzheimer’s I would go round weekly to sit with him, talk, cook him food. Whatever he needed I was there.

I have worked in many fields of work from looking after and caring for elderly people.. shopping, cleaning, cooking, paperwork.

I would love to help people wherever I can especially with some shopping or simply keeping them company to entertain them for some time. I am very easy going and patient and I have also had personal experience helping around with my grandparents.

I have experience as a carer for an elderly man, my main duties involved cleaning, cooking, washing, shopping and just generally providing company.
